Our Mission
Our mission is to create a caring, compassionate, non-judgmental peer support and educational environment for individuals and families who are bereaved to connect with others and develop a better understanding of the powerful emotions of grief and loss.
Support
We are a local charitable organization known as Bereaved Families of Ontario - Hamilton/Burlington. As our region expanded, we became Bereaved Families of Ontario - South Central Region, whose purpose is to provide well organized, and professionally supervised, peer-to-peer grief support programs and services for bereaved families and individuals who have lost a loved one through death.
All our grief support programs and services are offered free of charge.
